REGATTA IS A TERM USED TO DESCRIBE EITHER A BOAT RACE OR RACING EVENTS.

Like the so-called Regatta, the newly formed group is now rowing towards a middle-of-the road Motown style arena with a little mixed-up of rooted contemporary music.

It was only a matter of time before the right opportunity comes and the perfect moment began when the hits started coming through definitive and notable musicians. Although young at age, the 7 paragon are highly organized, structured and united towards signature music.

The singing group Regatta altered its sound to accommodate a balance of heart and rhythm. And finally they are now inclined with their influential sound, recognizable moves, distinct harmony and stage show.

Regatta's line up featured the remarkable voice, Jerry, cousin of the late Eddie Peregrina, long time conductor but decided to follow his significant influence Eddie. He started as a choir member and later polished his craft with Malazzo Orchestra. To blend the intensity, the classic technique, is Myra, lounge artist and orchestra lead singer. To complete their well-rounded vocal concept, Shye is settled. She developed her performing arts skill in Metropolitan Theatre and later continued it with composer, Larry Hermoso for Teen Hearts and Filscap President Nonoy Tan with IDOLO at DZEC. She's always been a surface thrill and a declared performer.

On the Rhythm, featuring a blend of black R & B and white pop music that made them multi-reed players.

The brass heavy-talent developed his skills by exploring music on his own. He took a profound stylistic turn from avant-garde playing to a crossover fusion style. The incomparable JP on keyboards is from UST Conservatory of Music . On Bass, Benjamin, He is highly regarded for his technical virtuosity and skills. His Bass makes no music; He Does the Music! Session player of Arnel Ignacio, Kempee De leon and various local artist. On lead guitar, former Menoppose is Robert, with his versatility and hard-driving sound he's another asset to the band.

To complete Regatta, the highly acclaimed drummer is Eric, the Rhythm and Soul of the group.
